Everyone has those days, you're not alone. Some are more intense than others. I know it's hard and that's just how life is. We're not in control of change. But we can control how we react to it. Swimming against the currant never gets anyone anywhere. Keeping our heads above water seems to be an accomplishment in itself. But if not for those days of near drowning, we couldn't possibly enjoy the sporadic moments in the sun.
Louis L'Amour once said "The one law that does not change, is that everything changes. And the hardship I was bearing today, was only a breath away from the pleasures I would have tomorrow. And those pleasures would be all the richer, because of the memories of this, I was enduring."
I think everybody has a saying along the lines of "If you never had the bad, you would never appreciate the good." Everybody has that saying, because it's true for all of us. We cannot forget to live in those moments of euphoria, for they are few, and far between. And when we find ourselves enduring the worst circumstances of diversity, we must hold our breath and prevail.
Nature needs both the sun and rain to thrive. Before every flower blooms in the suns light, it first must fight the earth that holds it down. Grow from diversity into the sun...
Tell me friend, how do you keep the light in your heart & the sun on your face?
